You have recently received a notice of a security hole in Symantec (Norton) Anti-Virus (SAV). The instructions given for updating your software didn't work for me, so I've setup what I hope is an easier method. Here's the summary; click on any step to get more details. Note: You'll need to be logged into the Geology server to proceed.

• Determine what version of SAV is running on your computer.
• If you are running version 8, you should uninstall it before installing the newer version.
• To install SAV 9.02 on your computer, go to the Z: drive, "Utilities and Patches", "SAV 9.02" and run the setup program (setup.exe).
